Core Principle and Structure
Mode Conversion: Converts TE₁₀ transverse electric wave in the waveguide to quasi-TEM transverse electromagnetic wave in the microstrip line. Low-loss and low-VSWR transition is realized through probe coupling, ridge waveguide tapering, impedance matching and cavity resonance.
