High-power waveguide fixed attenuators are heavy-duty passive attenuation components designed specifically for high-power microwave and millimeter-wave systems. Featuring high-thermal-conductivity absorber structures and enhanced heat dissipation designs, they operate reliably under continuous wave (CW) power from hundreds of watts to several kilowatts as well as high pulsed power conditions.

As core components for protecting front-end equipment and regulating power levels in radar, satellite communications, and high-energy RF systems, they provide non-adjustable, high-precision, and highly reliable signal power control.

  • Band & Waveguide Model Matching

    Select the corresponding WR series based on operating frequency (e.g., WR-90 for 8.2–12.4 GHz, WR-28 for 26.5–40 GHz) to avoid band incompatibility.

  • Accurate Power Rating Matching

    Select an attenuator with power capacity ≥ 1000W for a 500W system to provide sufficient safety margin.

  • Attenuation Value & Precision Requirements

    For precision power control: choose 10 dB and below (accuracy ±0.5 dB).

    For strong protection / large attenuation: choose 30–40 dB (accuracy within ±1.5 dB).
