Both waveguide ports are perfectly collinear with the mechanical rotation axis. It serves as the core rotary transmission component for feeding links in radar, satellite communication, and TT&C turntable systems.
Adopting a non-contact λ/4 choke sealing structure, it enables stable microwave signal transmission with low insertion loss and low VSWR during 360° infinite continuous rotation. With no metal friction contact, no cable winding and no signal interruption, it features the best electrical performance, shortest axial length and highest power capacity among Type I / L / U series waveguide rotary joints.

Overall Structure

  • Port Configuration: In-line straight layout with rectangular waveguide at both ends. The axes of input and output waveguides are completely concentric with the rotating spindle.
  • Internal Composition: Fixed-end rectangular-to-circular transition, rotary circular waveguide cavity, high-precision λ/4 choke ring, high-rigidity precision bearing assembly, and enclosed housing.
  • Mechanical Support: Double-row high-precision wear-resistant bearings ensure full-angle rotational concentricity, low runout and long service life.
