Waveguide Sliding Matching Load

Waveguide sliding matching loads are precision adjustable waveguide matching devices with movable and position-adjustable structures. The core design allows the absorber unit to slide accurately along the axial direction of the waveguide. They are used for precise impedance matching, standing wave compensation, system calibration and reflection cancellation, serving as key adjustable components in microwave laboratories, radar systems and metrology calibration.

Basic Structure

  • Main Waveguide Section:A precision-machined standard waveguide (WR-90, WR-42, etc.) with smooth inner walls and extremely tight tolerances.
  • Sliding Inner Core (Key Component):A piston-type absorber that can move axially.
  • External Adjustment Mechanism:Micrometer screw mechanism (micrometer head type): axial displacement accuracy up to micron level.
  • Locking device: locks in place once adjusted to the optimal position.
